DIODE, a través de su División de Identificación Automática, ha anunciado la disponibilidad del nuevo terminal TC20 de Zebra que, con un diseño compacto y robusto, satisface las necesidades de los profesionales de pequeños y medianos negocios en sectores como retail, logística y hospitality.

Este terminal con pantalla de 4.3” es una PDA fácil de usar que incorpora los últimos avances tecnológicos para ayudar a ahorrar tiempo y dinero a las empresas y, como consecuencia, mejorar la satisfacción del cliente y aumentar las ventas y la rentabilidad.

El TC20 se presenta en dos versiones (all-touch con pantalla táctil capacitiva multi-touch, y keyboard con teclado numérico). En ambos casos dispone de un display a color con resolución WVGA (800 x 480), backlight por LED y Corning Gorilla Glass.

Construido para funcionar en entornos adversos (con rango de temperatura de -10 a +50 °C), el nuevo terminal tiene un sellado IP54 (resistencia al polvo y a la lluvia) y ofrece resistencia a la vibración, al choque térmico y a la descarga electrostática (ESD).

El TC20 también incluye escáner en tiempo real (1D/2D Imager), lector de etiquetas RFID UHF (a través de un snap on opcional), cámara a color de 8 MP con enfoque automático y conectividad Wi-Fi y Bluetooth 4.2 BLE de alta velocidad.

El terminal funciona con el sistema operativo Android Nougat 7.X y se beneficia de las prestaciones de un procesador de ocho núcleos, RAM de 2 GB y Flash de 16 GB. Además, la batería de iones de litio de 3000 mAh aporta la autonomía demandada y, si fuera necesario, existe un PowerPack opcional para no tener que depender de un cargador.

Las características se completan con altavoz, dos micrófonos y toma de audio, y botones de control de volumen, potencia y “pulse para hablar” (PTT).

Por lo tanto, el TC20 resulta de gran ayuda en tareas de gestión de inventario y permite acortar el tiempo de respuesta al cliente al poder contactar con cualquier trabajador (tras apretar un solo botón).

El TC20 cuenta con el respaldo del servicio Zebra OneCare™ SV, que proporciona dos años de cobertura para el desgaste normal y el fallo del dispositivo y soporte técnico con prioridad en el tiempo de respuesta y solución del problema in situ.
