Se estima que para el 2022, 4 de cada 10 empleados alrededor del mundo tengan movilidad, según Strategy Analytics .Con una creciente necesidad de movilidad en los puestos de trabajo, Acer ha incorporado el mini SIM (eSIM) de Gemalto en sus portátiles Swift 7 para ofrecer un PC ultra portátil con conexión permanente que permite a los usuarios conectarse en movimiento.

Cumple con las especificaciones establecidas por la GSMA de conexión remoto, la eSIM de Gemalto está totalmente integrado en Windows 10. Los usuarios pueden activar fácilmente el perfil del operador de telecomunicaciones que viene por defecto con el nuevo Acer Swift 7. Después, pueden cambiar a su operador de red móvil preferido sin necesidad de cambiar tarjetas SIM, ya que la eSIM funciona en cualquier parte con todos los operadores. Gracias a la conectividad continua y fiable de la eSIM móvil, los profesionales ganan en eficiencia y productividad dondequiera que estén.

La movilidad está ganando impulso en todo el mundo. IDC pronostica que los gastos de movilidad relacionados con hardware, software y servicios a nivel mundial – tales como teléfonos inteligentes, software de administración de movilidad empresarial y servicios de conectividad móvil llegarán a 1,72 billones de dólares en el 2021, hasta un 8.5% más en comparación con el año pasado. Se espera que los Estados Unidos de América, China continental y Japón sean los tres principales mercados con mayor gasto de movilidad durante el período pronosticado.
